HR Systems team within our
North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) is currently seeking a critical thinking
Business Systems Analyst with experience in HR and/or delivering HR projects.

North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) contributes to our team:
Responsibilities:
- Gathers, documents, designs, and validates business system user requirements.
- Partners with HR process leads to analyze current state processes and promote recommendations for system/process improvement.
- Creates and maintains business requirements and design training documentation and materials.
- Manages and leads training rollouts.
- Develops use case scenarios, user stories, and training material.
- Provides robust, customer centric support to all users.
- Leads UAT, track issues, report status, and gain signoff on user acceptance.
- Defines requirements for HR reporting and analytics.
- Tests the system configuration from a user perspective to identify software issues.
- Understands HR requirements, strategies, best practices, processes and business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in human resources, information management, information technology, business administration, computing science, or a related discipline.
- Certification from Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0, Employee Central, Compensation, Performance or Succession is considered an asset.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a related field (preference will be given to those with HR experience).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong ability to work effectively and collaboratively with employees at all levels and areas of the organization.
- Ability to independently conduct effective meetings and give presentations in support of various projects and deliverables.
- Experience with advanced system troubleshooting.
