As a Grader Operator, You Will:
- Operate a grader completing various gravel operations and fine grading tasks safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs (including lubricating equipment, and refilling equipment tanks)
- Conduct daily circle checks of equipment before operating
- Complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Operate twoway radios and other communication equipment
- Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
- Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members
- Comply and enforce the company's environmental, health and safety policies
- Act in accordance with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices
- Travel for extended periods of time throughout Ontario
What You'll Bring:
- Must have a valid minimum class G driver's license with clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating a grader is considered an asset
- Operate in a fastpaced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Effective communication skills and work well with others
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions
