    Apex Systems is looking to hire a Sr. Cloud Business Analyst for one of their healthcare clients in the Vancouver, BC area.

    M-F, Full-time 37.5 hours per week Project DescriptionThe client is seeking a Cloud / SaaS Business Analyst who will be responsible for shaping and supporting the client's Modern Work / Microsoft 365 environment and program.

    The Business Analyst will support the newly formed Modern Work Centre of Excellence (MWCOE) to support projects and various stakeholders.


    In this role you will:


    Support internal processes and technology needed to support Microsoft 365Measure, monitor, and analyze SaaS usage for customers and make recommendations for cost optimization.

    Work with technical and business teams to address issues, manage risk and delivery valueManage service intake to meet business needsSuccessful candidates are an experienced project/program manager or business analyst with technical depth and expertise, along with strong customer engagement and communications skills.

    A strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS a Microsoft 365 is required. Preference will be given to those with prior government experience with Microsoft 365.


    Services Required:

    The selected resource will need to perform the following functions: Supports the coordination, execution, and completion for all aspects of the M365 Adoption Program and RoadmapResponsible for complex tasks in various cloud functions in areas of Microsoft 365 and other SaaS products.

    Creation of executive level Briefing Notes, Business Cases and other management level collateral as requiredDefine requirements for process and tool implementations needed to manage SaaS and Modern Work solutionsCollects and reviews requirements and perform data analysis to support decision making.

    Perform technical and financial analysis to help clients determine the impact of SaaS adoption.

    Define the total cost of ownership and business value for Microsoft 365 and SaaS AdoptionCreation and maintenance of program reporting dashboards, KPI and project metricsCreates, maintains, updates databases and spreadsheets, and generates various reports as required.

    Develops plans for assigned accounts and tracks performance to plan.
    Assists in the development of operational optimization policies and guidelines.
    Identify program risks and develop response plans.
    Maintains current knowledge of relevant Cloud optimization, regulations, policies, and procedures.

    Participates in special projects as requiredSpecific Qualifications or Experience Required: 10+ years' experience working as a business analyst in a IT/Cloud capacity10+ years' experience working with Microsoft 365 and server-based services (Exchange, SharePoint etc.)

    Strong background in working for multi-regional public healthcare organizationProven experience with the principles of ITIL Incident Management, Project Management and Change ManagementProven stakeholder management skillsProven experience facilitating and leading teams in programsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to translate Cloud terminology and concepts for easy consumption by cross-functional stakeholdersHighly adaptable and able to work in a fast paced priority driven environmentExceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable, courteousExcellent time management, prioritization and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail including an awareness of downstream effects of actionsAbility to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problemsDemonstrated sense of ownership and commitment and the capability to drive issues to closurePossesses a high level of integrity, trustworthiness and confidence, and represents the organization with a high level of professionalismExperience working within the Health Authorities and public healthcare is highly preferred Constraints and Special Considerations:

    While the preferable work location is Vancouver, BC, given the COVID-19 Pandemic, working from consultant place of work will be accommodated.

    As the Program is already in-flight, seeking a resource that can start with minimal notice period (e.g., 1 week notice for existing position)All contracted resources are expected to provide their own tools for effective remote work at their remote working location, including computers and mobile devices.

    The Client will not be providing equipment to external resources during the contract duration, but will provide tools, software, applications, and access for remote work.
