Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd. is seeking a motivated and experienced Millwright (FULL TIME POSITION) to join our maintenance team. If you have the following education, training, or experience, we want to hear from you.

The Maintenance Millwright is to provide the Plant with a high level of maintenance expertise that ensures company objectives are supported, maintenance goals are efficiently and effectively met, departmental downtime goals and preventative maintenance schedules are achieved.

To carry out equipment and building repairs as required, while adhering to quality, safety, food safety and legislative standards and guidelines.

Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.
Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Senior Management.
General Housekeeping – maintain tools, shop area and parts storage in good working order.
Able to work flexible shifts.
Mechanically inclined and have manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
Experience in a Food Processing Facility is an asset.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
