The role of General Shop Labour reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
We have one (1) position available on our
day shift (Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm), we have (2) positions available on our 3rd shift (Monday to Friday 3:30pm tp midnight) one (1) position available on our
3rd shift (Sunday to Friday, 11:00pm - 7:00am).
Offering Shift Premiums:
Afternoon $1.00
Nights $1.50
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Mainly responsible for taping, grit blasting and cleaning of parts
- Support manufacturing by performing a variety of tasks such as using air tools and coating spray support
Key Skill Requirements:_
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent fine manual dexterity is required
Key Education Requirements:_
- Minimum secondary school education
- Metal working industry knowledge of welding and grinding is an asset
- Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset
- Experience with air tools is an asset
