OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Gather and clean data from various sources, including public datasets, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define data requirements and sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for key stakeholders.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Build predictive models to support business decisionmaking.
- Evaluate model performance and refine models as needed.
- Data Interpretation and Reporting: Interpret complex data sets, including those from the public domain, and communicate findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to support decisionmaking processes.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on analyzing public domain data.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

- A selfstarter with the ability to recommend priorities to the project leader
