Marketing Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:


Events:


  • Coordinate with lawyers, Firm Management, and clients to develop plans for internal and external (client facing) events and corporate sponsorships that meet objectives and support the Firm's brand and client relationships.
  • Recommend internal event topics and formats to achieve business goals based on market insights and internal data.
  • Remain up to date with the latest venues, event trends and technologies that are relevant to the Firm and its clients.
  • Coordinate all event logistics for inperson, virtual, hybrid events, and corporate sponsorships including invitations, budget management, signage and use of the brand, onsite management, vendor management, contract negotiation, speakers, technology, F&B, followup efforts (budget, debriefs, final attendance) and other related items.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across the Firm to share best practices and relevant updates.
  • Coordinate all aspects of inperson Firm events and webinars from start to completion.
  • Coordinate onsite logistics for events.

Website

  • Assist with updating Firm website including lawyer/student biographies, student page, careers section, news bulletins, etc.
  • Coordinate photographer and lawyers/students for professional headshots.
  • Update internal intranet with news, events, and other pertinent information for Firm members.

Social Media

  • Support the Marketing & Business Development Manager to ensure timely posting to the Firm's social media platforms.
  • Create annual social media calendar to plan regular and timely postings.
  • Reach out to internal committees (D&I, Women's Network, Health & Safety, etc.) to assist with generating social media content.
  • Source brandcompliant images and graphics.
  • Assist and advise on paid social media campaigns and report campaign outcomes.

General Marketing:


  • Assist with editing, formatting, and updating content for pitches.
  • Track pitch and proposal requests and outcomes, assist with document management, and help maintain source content.
  • Assisting with implementing business development initiatives.
  • Assist with requests for other marketing materials such handouts and Firm collateral, working as needed with service providers (i.e The Printing House, etc.).
  • Coordinating all internal and external requests for marketing collateral and maintaining orders / inventory.
  • Assisting with the review and proposal of the Marketing Budget;
  • Providing general assistance to the Marketing & Business Development Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Commitment to learn the Firm's practice areas, practicespecific marketing materials, lawyer expertise, and legal industry and business trends.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to multitask, organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline with mínimal supervision.
  • Polished demeanor and ability to network at business functions.

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ViDesktop, ContactEase or similar CRM, SurveyMonkey, social media platforms, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and PDF.
  • College certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing/ Graphic Design or related major.
