Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install insulation and cladding on walls and roof of round structures
- create cuts and attachments in professional manner to ensure final product is clean and presentable to industrial clients

  • Measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal using measuring tools
  • Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using power tools or hand tools
  • Inspect and troubleshoot sheet metal systems for defects or malfunctions
  • Help crew with Tank Erection and other construction work
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion on time

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal or similar role in insulation and cladding
  • Proficient in caulking, heavy equipment operation and construction
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
$30.00-$36.00 per hour


Expected hours:
per week


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Construction: 5 years (preferred)
Skilled Labor: 5 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • EWP, Fall Arrest, CSTS and others (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • British Columbia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (preferred)
