The Public Service Commission (PSC) ensures Alberta has a professional, non-partisan and diverse public service that proudly serves Albertans.As a Workforce Investigator with the Government of Alberta you will conduct thorough employment investigations across the Alberta Public Service. You will investigate matters in relation to misconduct, Code of Conduct violations and more.
You will gather facts make conclusions draw objective findings through analysis against relevant policies Your work will directly inform key employment decisions provide valuable information to leaders manage workforce effectively
- Conduct fair impartial timely investigations
- Analyse evidence draw objective conclusions Consider behaviour within relevant legislation policy frameworks Prepare comprehensive reports outlining factual findings analysis Collaborate internal stakeholders labour relations specialists legal advisors HR personnel management ensure completion accurate reliable investigations Stay updated on relevant legislation regulations policies best practices related workplace investigations Handle sensitive confidential information professionalism discretion Use strong interpersonal skills engage employees at all levels organisation Have high ethical standards commitment conducting investigations fairness integrity objectivity
