Description:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will deliver a wide range of comprehensive healthcare services to individuals throughout their lives. Your role involves utilizing clinical skills from nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order and interpret tests, prescribe treatments, and conduct procedures to address patients' health needs. Furthermore, you will apply advanced nursing competencies in Clinical Practice, Leadership and Health System Optimization, Education, and Research to enhance care quality, encourage proper utilization of healthcare services, and impact healthcare systems. Required Qualifications:Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and holding at least a master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Possession of current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience as an Oncology NP dealing with various tumor groups is desirable. Possession of Canadian Oncology Nursing Certification or proof of completing oncology-related courses is an asset. Previous Registered Nursing experience in Oncology with diverse tumor groups is preferred. NP experience in an ambulatory environment with a solid background in internal medicine is advantageous. Familiarity and proficiency in utilizing Connect Care, Netcare, and ARIA are beneficial.
