Established in 1979, Wildlife Rescue Association of BC is a leader in the rehabilitation of wild animals and is committed to educating the public on how to coexist peacefully with wildlife.
Located in Burnaby, BC, we are western Canada's busiest wildlife rehabilitation centre, with over 5,000 animal patients admitted each year.

- Lead the development of strategic marketing plans, in collaboration with key members of our Fund
- Oversee and implement strategic internal and external communications including direct marketing and advertising programs, community relations, social media, publications, etc.
- Establish key performance indicators as well as monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using data and analytics based on marketing revenues to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Liaise with external partners and key media partners for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing aspects of branding, marketing, design, writing, editing, or printing, as required.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field
- Minimum 23 years of experience in marketing, ideally in the notforprofit sector
- Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with Salesforce Pardot a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, current trends in both online and print marketing, and content management systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well on own initiative, as well as collaborate successfully on a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive fundraising efforts
- Passion for wildlife welfare and a commitment to the mission of Wildlife Rescue Association
