Description

We're looking for a driven individual to join our
Business Development Representative (BDR) team as we pioneer the way in offering a powerful regulated content management platform designed for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinical research organizations.

As a BDR at Montrium, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for the company's SaaS and Service offerings, within the life sciences industry.
  • Playing a critical role in building relationships with key decision makers, including executive level stakeholders,
  • Driving sales growth.


This is a remote position, (with maybe a few days in office as agreed with your manager) allowing you to work from anywhere within Canada (although Montreal based applicants will be prioritized).


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Foster relationships with key decision makers in emerging lifescience organizations until they become fully qualified prospects for the Account Executive team.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team to develop and execute sales strategies and plans
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the Montrium's CRM system (HubSpot)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual qualified sales opportunity targets
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends to inform sales strategy and messaging

Your Qualifications:


  • 12 years of experience in an outbound sales or business development role
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in gathering and sharing information
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Able to connect business needs to solutions
  • Strong computer skills, proficient on Windows OS and Office Applications
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
