Specializing in the Dairy, Hog, Grain, Poultry and Manure Management sectors, we provide our farming partners with custom tailored Design-Build, Service and Supply solutions.

We are currently recruiting for an
Administrative Assistant for our Distribution Centre located at
961 Harriot Rd,
St. Andrew's, MB.
(a short 10-minute drive east of Selkirk off of Hwy 9A).

Duties:_

  • Take customer calls and provide support for their inquiries and/or concerns and provide product information as required.
  • Receive and input customer order requests for product and process in a timely manner; advise customer of shipping details.
  • Providing timely communication to business units regarding costing and inventory issues, status of orders and delivery dates.
  • Assist warehouse team with cycle counting tasks.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and correct as required in the inventory system.
  • Assist warehouse team by updating bin locations in system, labelling and bar coding as appropriate; labeling and putting away product in appropriate locations.
  • Preparing various inventory control reports for management review.
  • Replenishing inventory by creating and issuing POs to vendors based on minmax levels established in the system.
  • Creating and issuing POs for special orders as required.
  • Collaborating with vendors and freight companies to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Skills Required:_

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong sense of customer service; friendly and willing to serve/help
  • Proficient working knowledge of windowsbased computer programs and MS Office
  • Ability to perform in stressful situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Great team player and able to work with people from various departments
  • Good decisionmaking abilities
  • Mature attitude with strong ethics and honesty
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural equipment and related environments and working conditions; Previous experience in the dairy industry is an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset
