Applied Industrial Technologies LP is an extensive network of industrial distribution facilities located throughout Canada.

We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Project Manager, preferably based out of our Edmonton, AB location.


The Project Manager, reporting to the Director - OEM & Technical Services, will use their knowledge of technology, planning, and operations to lead business segments strategically and tactically to complete assigned major projects.

This position will require approximately 30-40% travel and will manage multiple projects at a time including overseeing our rooftop initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end management and coordination on multiple projects at any given time to ensure they are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of projects scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Plan and monitor project costs and help calculate the number of resources required
  • Design schedule for projects, set timelines, and delegate specific task(s)
  • Measure and track project performance, budgetary objectives, project constraints, develop detailed project plans and reports using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Solve and/or escalate complex problems which arise within the project and responsible for the outcome and completion the project within quality and budget scope
  • Ability to travel 3040% of the time
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed
  • 5 or more years of relevant Project Management experience
  • SAP experience would be as asset
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Project timelines, operational costs, and time costs per project. Proven success at managing and controlling the scope of projects through effective change control and scope management processes
  • Strong ability to multitask, deal with several projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and ability meet absolute deadline
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization through all means of communication
  • Ability to communicate detailed information, frequently involving business needs and wants.
  • Willingness to travel between 3040% of the time
