Salson is Hiring Sr Electrical Foreman_


Qualifications

  • English (required)
  • Supervising/Foreman: 5 years on $500,000 + Projects in Canada (required)
  • 309A Electrician Construction-Maintenance License
  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship in Canada
  • Basic First Aid/CPR Certificate, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Ministry of Labour online certificate on Occupational Health and Safety and Working at Heights certification.

DUTIES

  • Be accountable for the project assigned.
  • Participate in weekly Foreman Meetings
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
  • Produce schedules and monitor crew attendance
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities
  • Supervise and train team members
  • Supervise subcontractors and be accountable for them.
  • Ensure workforce and resources are adequate.
  • Meet all safety protocols and quality standards
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
  • Meet schedule demands
  • Organize and secure site material and project tools to ensure maximum efficiency and loss prevention
  • Manage material requirements and place orders
  • Resolve problems when they arise
  • Be Familiar with Fire alarm/ Data & Security Access control requirements.
  • Install electrical per specifications and Electrical Safety Authority Code
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

  • Minimum 5year proven experience as a Electrical construction site Foreman.
  • Indepth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines
  • Excellent understanding of electrical systems such as power distribution, fire alarm, generator installations, lighting controls and similar
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Able to manage multiple projects and schedules, at times simultaneously

Pay:
$45.00-$55.00 per hour
