Job Summary:

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate production team activities
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency
Implement and enforce safety protocols
Train new employees on production procedures
Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Responsible for the supervision, management & training of the personnel within the department.
This person will oversee all operations of the department, establish and achieve production goals.
Lead by example to create a productive and professional team.
Prepare technical reports as a result of research and development and development and preventative maintenance.
Provide on job training for mig welders.
Identifying/correcting and/or communicating the existence of Health & Safety hazards.
Manage and maintain welding process control activities for robotic GMAW systems.

manufacturing principles, quality systems, metal forming,

welding and blueprint reading (including GDT)

Leadership, communication, organization, computer

(spreadsheets, word processing, databases)

In addition:

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot production issues
Knowledge of quality control standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Nice-to-have Skills:

Experience with lean manufacturing principles
Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
Familiarity with production scheduling software
