Description
Responsibilities
- Assist head press operator with set up and take down of all jobs
- Clean ink from screens after each print run using cleaning products and emulsion remover
- Quality control
- Assist with receiving product as necessary
- Coating screens with emulsion
- Exposing screens and preparing them for print
- Communicating with the team to address print imperfections so they can be corrected
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self motivated
- Knowledge of computers and experience with graphic design is an asset
- Ability to work while standing for long periods of time in a warm environment
- Able to provide a high level of attention to detail and quality control
- Experience operating a manual or automatic screen printing press
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax, NS B3S0G4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- screen printing: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
