Job Type:
Full-time Permanent, Part-time Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, to start PLUS Tips

Availability: 30 to 40 hours per week; Day Shifts; 7am start

Job description

Duties:

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to menu specification
Prepare ingredients for sandwiches
Prepare Soups and Daily Specials
Simple preparation and bake of pastry items such as scones and cookies, using recipe instructions.
Practice food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Reports to Kitchen Leader

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of continuous employment in a high volume production kitchen/food business
Minimum 1 year experience in food preparation or sandwich making
Possess basic cooking and knife handling skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English

Please note that this position does not involve cake decorating.

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
