Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the growth and development of our Biological Sciences capabilities while participating in the expansion of new markets and products. Key activities will include contributing to proposal development, maintaining internal and external client relationships, mentoring new staff members to support departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting wildlife inventory programs on a project-related basis.
• Identify bird species including protected and endangered ones, develop strategies for bird protection and mitigation.
• Pertinent knowledge of provincial and federal legislation concerning Species at Risk (SAR).
• Aid in obtaining necessary permits related to wildlife projects according to specific requirements.
• Evaluate environmental conditions to determine their suitability for potential wildlife presence focusing particularly on SAR habitats.
