Summary

As a Project Manager - Training in our organization, you will play a vital role in nurturing our commitment to superior performance.

We are a leading organization committed to providing high-quality training and development solutions to our employees and clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception to completion.

Your primary objective will be to design, develop, and launch an innovative training platform that delivers engaging and interactive content to our target internal and external audience.

You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of the training platform and the creation of high-quality content.

In your ongoing evaluation and optimization of these initiatives, you will ensure they align with our strategic goals, upholding our singular value of excellence.

This position is also responsible for the administration of the training budget and the year-end training cost reporting to the government.

Job Duties


Project Planning and Execution:


  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, which includes timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful delivery of the training platform and content.
  • Coordinate and communicate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements, align project objectives, and prioritize tasks.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively take necessary actions to mitigate issues and ensure project goals are met.

Training Platform Development:


  • Conduct research on existing training platforms and technologies to identify the most suitable solution for our organization's needs.
  • Select and implement the training platform, ensuring its compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of the platform, including user interface design, functionality, and integration of thirdparty tools.

Content Creation and Curation:


  • Develop a content strategy that includes curriculum design, learning objectives, assessment methods, and delivery formats (e.g., elearning modules, videos, interactive materials).
  • Establish guidelines and standards for content creation, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.
  • Continuously improve the training content and resources available for both internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration:


  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs, gather feedback, and incorporate suggestions into the training platform and content development.
  • Collaborate with trainers to ensure seamless integration of training materials into the platform and provide necessary support for content delivery.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:


  • Implement mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of the training platform and content, collecting feedback, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, incorporating emerging trends and technologies to enhance the training experience.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future enhancements.

Other Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all required training is captured for QMS, including producing annual training report for QA.
  • Promote and advocate personal development plans.
  • Manage the training budget.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in training and development to ensure the organization is at the forefront of training innovation.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Instructional Design, Education, Business Administration).
  • Bilingual (French & English)
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a training or learning and development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design principles, and elearning platforms.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills ability to engage and inspire learners at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decisionmaking.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programs that have had a measurable impact on employee performance.
