Job Description:

As the Fabric Receiving Clerk, you will contribute to Laura's success by receiving and shipping the fabric for all private label merchandise.

How will you support the team?

Receive and store fabrics.
Inspect fabric rolls (quality, metering) for each lot received.
Identify each roll by fabric number.
Maintain stock on hand.
Document fabric widths and record them.
Provide Sample Room Supervisor with 1⁄2 meter fabric cuttings for shrink testing.
Prepare fabric pallets to be shipped for cutting.
Keep all fabric inventory updated daily.
Organize documents and filing systems.

Qualifications:

Domestic production knowledge, an asset
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
The ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Strong organization skills
Bilingualism
