Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking of shipments
Supervise and manage transportation personnel to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any transportationrelated issues
Monitor and analyze transportation costs to identify opportunities for cost savings
Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
Manage materials management and procurement processes to ensure adequate inventory levels
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and streamline distribution processes
Oversee the use of forklifts and other equipment to load and unload shipments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in transportation coordination or a similar role
Strong knowledge of 3PL (thirdparty logistics) operations and warehouse distribution processes
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other transportation software systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders
Proficient in budgeting and cost analysis to optimize transportation expenses

$36,050.11-$66,158.64 per year
