Job summary
The Account Payable Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department with account reconciliations, updating various ledgers, preparing financial reports,ensuring transactions are supported with adequate documentation,
ensuring financial statements are accurate on an ongoing basis among other accounting duties as assigned.
- Complete account reconciliations on various general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements; resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Must have experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
