Description

Day-to-day accounting (bookkeeping, journal entry posting, accounts reconciliation, GL/SL and Profit & Loss management) under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Support of ERP testing during implementation
Microsoft Dynamics Business Center
Prepare and manage payments runs (file upload, approvals and file processing and Business Activity Statement processing
Calculate fixed assets and manage depreciation
Calculate accruals, provisions, and contract assets (IFRS 16)
Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using ERP system
Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
Prepare tax returns in collaboration with Big 4 accounting/audit firm
Education and 3+ years experience as clerk and/or bookkeeper: bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred, but not required
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics an asset
Selfmotivated, strong attention to detail, structured way of working and ability to work independently
High degree of responsibility, reliability, resilience, flexibility, and loyalty
Very good English skills, both written and oral
