Wind Cries Mary is looking for a cook for our evening dinner service.

We are a busy establishment that values respect of the employee, and are looking for someone who can join our fun but professional team.

Job Duties:

  • Using the various forms of kitchen equipment
  • Cooking the menu items in a tidy and organized manner
  • Managing their station in order to maintain organization and product levels
  • Keeping a general tidy area, and assisting the kitchen crew in a proper close down
  • Assisting in prep / shucking oysters

Job Requirements:

  • Weight Handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to be part of a team
  • Able to multitask and maintain the kitchen

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From $22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- cooking: 3 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
