West Coast Kids is a modern baby & kids boutique that has been in business for over 40 years.

We have ten stores across Canada.

We have 1 full-time position for an assistant manager in our Toronto, Ontario location, requiring flexible availability including weekends and evenings.

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated employee that is in search of a long term, permanent position. We promote within the company and offer benefits for all our full-time staff.


The assistant manager will oversee staffing initiatives that include training & scheduling and developing a professional staff of sales associates to drive sales, provide excellent service to our customers, meet company goals, and maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives.

The assistant manager must also possess exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, merchandising, selling and exceeding customer expectations & store opening/closing duties.


Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in retail management.
The assistant manager must be highly motivated and energetic and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in the baby industry would be an asset.

Computer proficiency is required and past retail, display design, and business training is preferred. Formal sales training and Industry experience would also be assets in the role.


Salary:
From $45,000.00 per year

  • Secondary School (preferred)

- sales: 2 years (preferred)

  • Retail management: 3 years (preferred)
