Job Purpose and Impact


The Human Resources Field Operations Associate Specialist will provide timely and accurate routine administration of payroll, time and attendance and other operational activities.

In this role, you will support, research and respond to escalation inquiries and take the necessary actions needed regarding any issues related to your focus areas, leveraging internal and external vendor technologies and solutions to enable completion of all required actions.

You will monitor data to ensure accurate and compliant processes and procedures are applied, while understanding the full payroll end to end process and how your activities integrate into the overall processes.

Key Accountabilities


Perform routine administration and support for human resources and payroll services and end to end timekeeping system activities to enable accurate, timely and compliant payroll processes.

Review data for payroll transactions to look for inconsistencies and correct payroll errors before they happen.
Review, modify and create business requirement documents and system configuration documents.
Review, understand and interpret union agreements or other working agreements as it relates to specific pay practices and policies.

Responsible for support and execution of new payroll and time and attendance system user training for supervisors and other system administrators.

Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Confirmed customer service skills
Experience in operations executing and resolving escalated issues
Human capital management or payroll-time and attendance system experience
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in Payroll
Participation in the Canadian payroll association
Bilingual English-French
