The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and compliance of work, supporting the Program Manager of each project assigned, from the initiation of the claim to the completion of the file._

Scope of Daily Work

  • Liaising with Project Managers before the project starts to obtain a complete understanding of what work needs to be performed and maintain regular contact for project changes.
  • Clearly communicate all job requirements including but not limited to, job schedules, work plans, abatement techniques, equipment usage, hazardous conditions and safety procedures, damage control procedures, job site layout, sampling, reporting, and emergency procedures.
  • Assigning/scheduling the work, checking the progress, monitoring team performance, giving the homeowner confidence that we are involved in all aspects of the job.
  • Generating work orders to have equipment and garbage picked up and content returned.
  • Maintain ownership of all activities related to each assigned job until such a time that all paperwork is submitted, and the emergency job is closed and passed on to the repair department within the scheduled deadline.
  • Ensure jobs and resources are properly scheduled to ensure maximum efficiency and to ensure that the workflow in the warehouse is conductive to efficiency.
  • To be responsible for the overall GP on all jobs and aggressively striving for the desired %.
  • Understanding how insurance claims are processed and ensure that the departmental deliverables meet or exceed TIPS and POMS score targets.
  • Auditing the paperwork from the field to ensure it includes a signed Work Authorization, moisture readings, pictures, equipment tracking, status updates and other documentation and compliance tasks as required.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are followed by subcontractors and inhouse crew.
  • To provide a calming approach whilst dealing with conflict resolution.
  • Building relationships with property managers and other potential clients.
  • Being part of the "On-Call Team"

  • Ability to manage multiple projects whilst making sure the customer is taken care of.
  • The ability to handle conflict and think on your feet.
  • Must be able to make confident decisions and defend them to others.
  • Achieve monthly department targets and KPI's.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize.
  • Advanced ability to influence, persuade and negotiate project resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and quality driven.
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario Health and Safety Act.
  • Possess a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to seek and incorporate best practices and technologies to optimize project delivery and deliver value to the client.
  • Maintain a level of confidentiality.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Must provide a clear criminal record.
  • All other duties as assigned.
