Description
Alpha Channel Inc.is looking for a Lead 3D Artist, who can lead and inspire a team of 3D artists, guiding them in creating high-quality models and environments that align with the game's vision.
Beyond your creative contributions, this role will be key in guiding our art team and you'll play a pivotal role in pipeline optimization and ensure the final product meets the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Create stunning, realistic models and environments while optimizing assets for performance within Unreal Engine.
- Guide a small team of artists through production and ship a beautiful new IP.
- Develop visually compelling textures and materials that bring tanks and environments to life.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and Technical artists to ensure that artistic elements integrate seamlessly into the game.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the art production pipeline, maintaining a high level of efficiency and quality.
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior artists, fostering their growth and development.
- Refine and review assets delivered from external sources and bring them up to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the gaming industry as a 3D artist, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proficiency in AAA 3D art pipelines and working with either a public or private console or PC engine.
- Exceptional 3D modeling and texturing skills, with a portfolio showcasing highquality work.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and inspire a team.
- Deep knowledge of current industry standards and art & tool pipeline trends.
- Adaptability and a commitment to maintaining artistic excellence.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Unreal 4 or
- A love for tanks
