MacLean Engineering is looking for A WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN, qualified and experienced, to be part of a growing team at our Val d'Or, Quebec branch.

About the position:

Assemble, install and test various hydraulic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies in the production and implementation of mobile mining equipment.

Possibility to work on components as well as complete reconstruction of mobile mining equipment.
Work closely with our engineering department to develop equipment prototypes.
Conduct safety testing in accordance with company laws, regulations and procedures and government regulations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical system problems encountered on our mobile equipment fleet and components.
Establish and maintain good maintenance practices.

DEP and/or DEC industrial mechanics and/or engineering mechanics, construction machinery or electromechanics;
Practical and theoretical knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems required to develop circuit installations with engineering technical support.
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
