Position Summary
CIMCO is looking for an experienced working Foreman at their new facility in Burlington.

Role Responsibilities

  • May be responsible for overseeing a team of employees on a construction site, factory, or other industrial setting
  • Ensures that all work is being performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations
  • May provide guidance and instruction to workers regarding safety procedures and equipment operation
  • Monitors work progress and quality to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specifications
  • Maintains records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents or violations
  • Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate work activities and schedules
  • May be involved in the hiring and training of new workers
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Similar experience is required
  • Holds valid certification from the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
  • Ability to effectively manage and instruct a team of employees
  • Ability to perform hands on work when required
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Good computer skills
  • Unionized environment
