Freight Claims (Overage, Shortages, and Damages) Coordinator, where you will help navigate our operation and customers towards solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and investigating freight claims; shipping issues, damaged freight, etc.
- Reporting claims to customers and tracking ongoing claims
- Detailed data entry, filing, and documentation
- Communicating with customers, drivers, night crew, and dispatchers
- Working with all terminals for viable solutions
Qualifications:
- Detail oriented & excellent problem solver
- Organized, with the ability to prioritize
- Customer focused, skilled in conflict resolution; able to manage difficult conversations with a positive attitude
- Quick learner and process oriented
- Proficient on a computer
- Flexible start and end times
- Knowledge of customer base and Freight, Transport, or Wholesale experience, an asset
Compensation:
- $58,000-$61,000/year
