Industrial Spray Painter
Key Responsibilities:
Paint Application:
Equipment Maintenance:
Cleaning and maintaining spray painting equipment and tools.
Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairs.
Safety and Compliance:
Following safety protocols to prevent accidents or exposure to harmful fumes.
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations regarding paint use and disposal.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Working closely with other team members, such as painters, supervisors, and management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial painting an asset.
- Minimum 3 yrs. experience as an industrial spray painter.
Skills:
- Good handeye coordination and a steady hand.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to utilize basic computer functions such as Window OS.
Work Environment:
- Work takes place in a manufacturing plant with a paint line at up to 8ft./minute.
- Requires wearing protective gear like masks, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Involves exposure to fumes and chemicals.
