You as a Field Coordinator:


  • Maintains project document control and procedures.
  • Assists Superintendent with all tasks including scheduling updates and updating shop drawings.
  • Responsible for tracking and ordering materials.
  • Prepares quantity takeoffs as directed (for production analysis or material orders).
  • Assists with implementing and monitoring Quality Plan.
  • Liaises between subcontractors and designers on field details.
  • Oversees 3rd party inspections.
  • Assists project administration team with subtrade management including RFI's, shop drawings, changes and billings.
  • Indirect supervision of own forces crew (on projects with selfperform scopes of work), which includes assisting with determining crew sizes, tracking productivity, determining work quantities and completing labor cost reports.
  • Provides day to day direction to assigned subcontractors

Is this the right role for you?
years' experience in a field coordinator role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge/experience in construction industry; understands terminology and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple supervisors and sub trades.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment potentially reporting to many different people.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
