Who are we?
Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly won over customers looking for a comfortable, efficient and safe flying experience.

After ten years in operation, Groupe Chrono now has a fleet of 15 aircraft, an air maintenance company, airport terminals and a team of over 280 employees.

Groupe Chrono is the only airline in Quebec to offer aircraft from 9 to 120 passengers dedicated exclusively to charter.

With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues to expand and strengthen its leadership position in the air charter industry in Quebec and Canada.

Role and context

Key responsibilities

Ensure that financial statements and statistical reports are regularly updated
Managing cash flow effectively
Being proactively involved in drawing up the annual budget and financial projections
Provide support and strategic advice to line management
Take an active part in the external audit and act as the main contact for annual audits
Contribute to the improvement and implementation of new operational processes

Key skills

Solid accounting experience with intercompany transactions (required)
Solid experience in consolidation (required)
Experience in inventory management and work in progress (an asset)

Specific job requirements

Minimum of five (5) years' experience relevant to the position
Bachelor's degree in accounting, with CPA designation an asset
Ability to use technological tools and communication platforms, including Excel
Fluency in French is essential for this position. An intermediate knowledge of written English is also required in order to be able to interact with Englishspeaking customers and suppliers in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
