    Band 5 Occupational Therapist Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven.

    Full time 37 hours per week (permanent rotation post within Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city services)

    £30,229 - £37,664 (per annum)

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rotational Band 5 Occupational Therapist in Kincardine Community Hospital in Stonehaven. If you have just qualified as an Occupational Therapist this post may be of interest to you. Equally if you have already gained some experience as an OT, you may also be interested.

    The post holder is required to provide Occupational Therapy to a designated caseload incorporating patient assessment and treatment, to facilitate a timely and safe discharge from the community hospital. The post holder will be part of the OT team that works within a well-established multi-professional and multiagency setting to ensure co-ordinated care for patients. You would also provide professional advice, supervision and clinical support to support workers and students.

    Supervision and personal development systems are well established within the services. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged and staff at all levels are encouraged to be involved in ongoing service improvements.

    This post is part of our wider band 5 rotation. Each rotation is of 6 months duration. We pride ourselves on our rotational programme as it enables the OT to develop skills and gain experience across a variety of clinical areas within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Woodend Hospital and Aberdeen City/Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care partnerships. We continue to seek opportunities to expand the variety of areas on our rotations. The current list of rotations include;

    Stroke and Stroke rehabilitation

    Rosewell

    CAARS
