JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), the
Managing Director of Portfolio Strategy & Investment Risk is responsible for the management and oversight of the risk exposures in OPG's Pension Fund and comanagement and oversight of the Ontario Nuclear Funds, recommending and advising on the Fund's optimal asset and risk allocation necessary to achieve the Funds' objectives.
The Managing Director, Portfolio Strategy & Investment Risk is responsible for advising on risk management and risk reporting to the senior leadership team including the CIO, Investment Committee, Investment Funds Risk Oversight Committee, and the Board of Directors. They will be a key contributor to the development and execution of OPG's strategic asset allocation decisions, asset/liability management strategies, and its alternative asset investment strategy and will work closely with external service providers, overseeing many of their contractual deliverables.
