Salary:
Giatec Scientific Inc. (Giatec) is looking for an
Electronic Design Manager to be part of the Product Development team. The work location for this role is primarily onsite with occasional flexibility to work remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and motivate a team of electronic designers to develop new products, as well as improve and enhance the existing ones.
Lead the electronic design activities from architecture/system design to circuit design, PCB layout, firmware, and software development.
Identify and implement best practices in the design and development of electronic systems.
Manage documentation process including design specifications, technical drawings, process documents and validation plans.
Oversee the execution of test and validation activities, ensuring compliance to product requirements.
Schedule tasks and mange ontime delivery of design and development projects.
Collaborate within a crossfunctional team of mechanical and industrial designers, quality engineers and supply chain management to ensure reliability and high performance of electronic designs.
Work closely with other departments (R&D, Product Management; Software Development) to ensure success of Giatec products.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
10 years of experience in electronics/hardware design and development
2+ years of management experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commands excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong time management skills that enable ontime project delivery.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and rapidly changing environment.
Desire and ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
