About this opportunity

What you will do
The incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to:

Produce test cases that are reusable and of high quality
Provide detailed feedback and work in JIRA on ticket creation reporting bugs, suggesting product enhancements and optimizations
Hands on mobile devices testing (smartphones and tablet devices) of company proprietary solutions with high degree of attention to detail is required
Liaise with architects, Leads, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to define software requirements; and to assess feasibility of solution within time constraints
Follow industry standards in quality assurance

What you have to offer

Mandatory:

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT related field
Minimum 3+ years of handson experience in QA testing
Experience with JIRA and QA test case software such as TestRail
Knowledge of testing software such as jMeter, BrowserStack and PostMan
Familiarity with database technologies such as Mongo DB, MySQL or MS SQL
Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code
Excellent analytical problem diagnosis, investigation and solving skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required (ability to receive and provide feedback a must)
Ability to work well in a team environment and under tight deadlines is a must

Desirable:

Certifications in Azure, AWS, Microservices, Design Patterns is an asset.
Project management experience
Resultsoriented with a disciplined approach to documentation
Bilingual in English & French a strong asset
