    Description

    Good day Data Engineers

    Insight Global is looking for 6 Sr or Lead Data Engineers to join a large Asset Management company in Toronto on a full time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading projects end-to-end within the Data Distribution Team or Asset Management Team. This role is heavily hands on and requires strong experience with cloud data services technologies, data pipelines/distribution, and Python/PySpark scripting. This is a hybrid role where candidates are required to go into office mandatory 3 days/week at their downtown Toronto location.

    Experience :

    University Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

    7-10 years experience in Data Engineering roles within any industry

    5+ years experience with public cloud platforms (AWS Preferred)

    Strong experience building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and PowerShell

    Strong experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, EMR, and Glue - Strong Experience with Lambda, Airflow, and EC2

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams

    Nice to have:

    Experience in asset management or financial industry
