A little bit about the role:

ORBCOMM is looking for a Billing Specialist that will be responsible for Managing Customer specific duties such as billing, maintaining spreadsheets, preparation, and submission of invoices in accordance with customer specific requirements.

Duties:

Generate manual customer invoices.
Ensures client invoices are prepared to specific customer requirements.
Maintaining excel based spreadsheets for the following items.
Freight expenses to be charge back to customers.
All shipments related to customers, as per delivery.
Statements of customer account
Running balance of prepayment schedule and monthly credit due
Releasing of orders with upon delivery requirements in ERP system
Collections of customer invoice
Enter BIC location #'s into ERP system.
Correct errors and discrepancies on customer billing as necessary

Skills:

Strong knowledge of MS Excel vlookups, pivots a must.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail on all assignments.
Strong customer service in a fastpaced team environment.
Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to work in multiple platforms.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, handle interruptions while maintaining flexibility in work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively and interact with diverse personalities while maintaining a professional attitude.
