    Au cours d'une journée-type vous serez amené à :

    · Reçoit les patients et lorsque nécessaire les inscrit,
    · Identifie correctement et prépare les patients pour les examens,
    · Informe les patients du déroulement de l'examen,
    · Remplit les formulaires nécessaires concernant les allergies et autres incluant le
    questionnaire pré-IRM,
    · Si requis, vérifie les résultats sanguins et prend les mesures appropriées avec le radiologue,
    · Effectue les examens demandés en IRM,
    · Assiste et/ou effectue la reconstruction d'image lorsque nécessaire,
    · Insère les cathéters intraveineux, lorsque nécessaire,
    · Prépare et injecte les produits de contraste
    · Suit avec précaution la procédure d'injection automatique,
    · Injecte l'agent antispasmodique, lorsque nécessaire,
    · Assiste le radiologue dans l'administration des procédures interventionnelles,
    · Pratique les techniques stériles et les précautions universelles de substance du corps,
    lorsque nécessaire,
    · Assiste à la formation des technologues diplômés,
    · Détermine l'ordre de priorité des patients qui doivent être examinés et résout les priorités
    conflictuelles comme que demandé,
    · Assure que les provisions de la Centrale de stérilisation sont bien alimentées,
    · Signale l'équipement dysfonctionnel et les problèmes d'entretien au coordonnateur
    technique en IRM,
    · Numérise les documents reliés aux examens dans le SIR et/ou dans le PACS,
    · Vérifie la transmission de la documentation et de l'examen dans le PACS,
    · Assiste dans les autres milieux lorsque les examens d'IRM sont terminés,

    · Exécute d'autres tâches connexes.

    · Doit détenir un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en technologie de radiodiagnostic d'une école reconnue par le ministère compétent ou un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en technologie de l'échographie médicale d'une école reconnue par le ministère compétent pour la spécialité d'échographie spécifiquement.
