Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs and provide pricing quotes to clients in a timely manner
  • Analyze and review specifications, blueprints and customer drawings and determine scope of work
  • Generate estimates/pricing, provide equipment rates, and organize scheduling and project planning
  • Prepare detailed estimates for labour and material costs, analyzing each section for scope, accurate pricing and completeness
  • Follow up with customers and potential clients on provided quotes
  • Identify and initiate bidding for projects and aid management in bidding decisions
  • Maintain excellent customer service and support in accordance with our service and quality standards
  • Maintain a high degree of communication and documentation with the team and Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Estimation and Project Management in the metal fabrication industry
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, design and technical knowledge of metal fabrication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings/specifications
  • Ability to understand and work on AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Effectively complete multiple projects within tight deadlines

Work Conditions:

  • Clean, welllit, quiet standard office environment
  • Mostly long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
  • May work overtime, as required
  • May travel occasionally, as required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
