• Assisting Q.C Manager in Quality System Planning
• Laboratory testing of various materials
• Strictly adhering to the organizations quality assurance policies
• Identifying incoming, inprocess, and final products for defects and/or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain
• Record and analyze results of various testing in order to certify or reject processed goods
• Routinely analyze samples and trial products during development
• Testing and maintaining the effluent water treatment system
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Laboratory Supervisor and/or Q.C Manager

• Highschool diploma minimum is required
• Chemical engineering diploma/degree or similar is an asset
• Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and able to work both safely and efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Analytical abilities and high attention to detail
• Good oral, reading, written communication skills
• Punctual and flexible to work evenings and/or weekends as required
• Ability to:
• Problem solve and think critically
• Work under pressure
• Familiarize oneself with the paperwork associate with Quality Control Procedures
• Adapt and learn new systems and skills
• Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment

• 13 years of quality assurance experience preferred
• Experience working with quality management systems an asset

• Brampton and Rexdale, ON

• Shift work 7:30am4pm, 3:30pm12am, 11:30pm8am (morning, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, opportunities for overtime)
