This is an _in-office_
position: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM-5PM


You Will:


  • Tracking Shipments: Utilize various tracking systems and tools to monitor and track multiple shipments daily. Ensure accurate and timely updates on shipment status and transit ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).
  • Communication: Effectively communicate transit ETA's and shipment updates to the team and stakeholders. Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth transit and address any issues promptly.
  • Late Deliveries Management: Identify and manage delays or issues with shipments, working with carriers and logistics partners to resolve delays and expedite deliveries when necessary. Keep the team informed of potential schedule impacts due to late deliveries.
  • Order Entry: Assist with entering new orders into the system accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of order details.
  • Freight Quoting: Support freight quoting processes by obtaining quotes from carriers, evaluating pricing options, and communicating freight costs to relevant stakeholders. Maintain records of freight quotes and assist in negotiating competitive rates.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and uptodate documentation related to shipments, orders, and freight quotes. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Problemsolving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to tracking, shipping, and administrative tasks. Collaborate with team members to implement solutions and improve processes.

You Have:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; (additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is an asset).
  • Previous experience in track and trace operations, order entry, freight quoting, or related roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes, including carrier operations, transit times, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and tools for tracking shipments, entering orders, and managing documentation (e.g., MS Office Suite, shipping software).
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
