The Sales & Business Development Representative will report directly to Regional Sales Manager. This role specializes in providing full service account coverage and development of new business.

Success will require a strong sales acumen in account management, sales and sales planning, particularly as follows:


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide knowledgeable consultation, including customer training, to both new and existing customers.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns and look for ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop sales plans to nurture and grow existing relationships.
  • Demonstrate market intelligence, business acumen and customer trust to close sales deals on new business as well as upselling ventures to existing customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in the company database.

Experience, Skills & Competencies:


  • Bilingual (English-French)
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Ambitious, passionate and competitive team player who is willing to take the lead
  • Proven sales ability, consultation and presentation skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and document sales activities
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, forecasting tactics
  • Proven ability to negotiate new business and close sales deals
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience as a product manager or manufacturer's representative (asset)
  • Experience selling in the automotive aftermarket or industrial market space (asset)
  • Experience using Salesforce (asset)
