The Tarcott Group, situated in the Fraser Valley, is a prominent company specializing in residential and commercial management construction. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team.

As a Lead Carpenter you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion.

This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of carpenters to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
Perform various skilled carpentry tasks
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Coordinate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Train and mentor junior carpenters

Experience:

Experience carpenter with 4+ years experience in carpentry trades
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings
Experience in various carpentry tasks such as flooring installation, cabinet installation, roofing, masonry, tile laying,
Proficient operating skills of all tools & equipment used in construction
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
