About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance and Operations, the Controls Technician performs a variety of skilled tasks required for the maintenance, upgrading and renovations of HVAC systems and equipment within the central zone hospitals.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Certified Journeyperson or a graduate of an Industrial Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical Technology course.
  • Access to reliable transportation is required
  • Journeyperson Electrician with controls experience would also be considered.
  • Four years' experience in HVAC Control preferred.
  • Knowledge of air balancing techniques and methods is required.
  • Commercial and/or Industrial Controls experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of all HVAC systems and pneumatic and electronic control systems, devices and programming.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent, fulltime position; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $32.49 Hourly

This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $170.62 biweekly. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.
