Service Technician - Oakville, Canada - ATS Tanner Banding Systems Inc.

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our service team.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery used at our customers' productions, which includes troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, adjusting mechanical components, and replacing worn-out parts.

Support the maintenance team with installations and training.

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs, or arrange for repairs as needed.

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.

Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs.

Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to management.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary is a plus.

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with technical experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Able to travel domestically and internationally for training, installations, and service.
