    Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Winnipeg or Toronto office & 2 days working from home

    Reporting to: Group Product Manager

    These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

    • Systems thinking, the ability to see the big picture within a multi-sided marketplace
    • Critical thinking and problem solving. Defining the problem we are trying to solve
    • An understanding what product-led growth can do and how to gauge product market fit
    • The ability to identify and create business cases for new features and to track impact of product releases
    • You are an owner. You build subject matter expertise in your own discipline
    • Works independently, identifies innovative solutions, receiving minimal guidance
    • Identifying product requirements; works with business stakeholders to identify and analyse opportunities to improve our products.
    • Writing user stories, product backlog grooming, prioritization, and crafting roadmap
    • Product roadmap and backlog; your bread and butter is building a product backlog for a team in line with the strategic goals and objectives
    • You work with data and insights to drive product direction
    • Communicating and managing expectations with different levels of audience and able to break bigger ideas into simplified parts
    • You are strong in communication and stakeholder management; clearly communicates with multiple stakeholders throughout the product development process and manages expectation

    • Bias towards action
    • A problem solver
    • Curious, willing to learn and understand how things work to get things done
    • Experience with SQL and data analysis is an asset
    • Experience working with UX research and product analysts to inform your roadmap
    • Customer centric, ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities
    • Digging deep and having grit, the ability to find a way
    • 4+ years of experience with the primary responsibility of roadmap definition and delivery.
    • Experience aligning commercial teams like marketing, finance, sales and strategy on shared business outcomes. You see the big picture and anticipate what needs to be built.
    • Experience in communication product strategy
    • Experience working across multiple product stacks (or business units) and able to balance out roles and responsibilities through collaboration and delegation
    • A history of deciphering business needs and translating into requirements that are clear and aligned to specification
